Plan of works for my Solo performance

Title of piece: Who I am.

Dramatic material: My piece is going to be a performance collage on video.

Elements of my performance: My piece is based around the song Who I am, by Jessica Andrews.( have put on my blog) For this piece I have written this song out as a poem and changed the words to suit a performance about me. This song and many other songs will be the bases of my performance.

Concept of my performance: To show my life and personality in performance, without just reciting a monologue or just talking into a camera.

Proposed research:

>I am going to look at singers who have told stories of there lives through song. For example Eminem the rap artist. Most of his work is about his life experiences.
Look at how this worked for each artist and use this research to help me with my piece.

> Look at people who have made life collages on video and get some idea’s from there work.
For example the Sa5m video from the film, Band Slam.( have put on my blog).

>Look into how to edit my video, to make it look professional and look interesting to an audience.

> Look into performances and see if anyone has done anything similar to what I am proposing to do.

> Look into performances that rely on rhythm to connect there performance. For example Swimming to Cambodia how he uses music and rhythm to connect his piece and help the audience to be involved in his adventure.
