Poem about me
This song is what infulenced me to write this poem for class. This is an amazing song and the words mean a lot too me. I changed the words to suit my life and read it as a poem.
Hi I’m Jessica
If I live to be a hundred
And never see the seven wonders
That’ll be alright
If I don’t make it to be a teacher
If I never win lots of money
I’m gonna be just fine
‘Cause I know exactly who I am
I am Pauline-Anne’s granddaughter
The spitting image of my mother
And when the day is done
My uncle Adam is still my biggest fan
Sometimes I’m clueless and I’m clumsy
But I’ve got a sister, willow who loves me
And she knows I will always be there
she is a part of me
And that’s who I am
So when I make big mistake
When I fall flat on my face
I know I’ll be alright
Should my tender heart be broken
I will cry those teardrops knowin’
I will be just fine
‘Cause nothin’ changes who I am
I am Samantha Gordon’s daughter
The spitting image of my Auntie Jodi
And when the day is done
My father’s still my biggest fan
Sometimes I’m silly and I’m crazy
But I’ve got a brother, Ethan who loves me
And he knows I will always be there
he is a part of me
And that’s who I am
I’m a saint and I’m a sinner
I’m a loser, I’m a winner
I’m am steady and unstable
I am young but I’m able
I am Grandad Gerorges granddaughter
The spitting image of my Nanan
And when the day is done
Grandad David’s still my biggest fan
Sometimes I’m sad and I’m un-happy
But I’ve got a son, Logan who love’s me
And he knows I will always be there
He is a part of me
He is also who I am
I am John Cox’s daughter
The spitting image of my uncle Thommas
And when the day is done
Julie Andrews is still my biggest fan
Sometimes I’m scared and I am worried
But I’ve got friends who love me
And they know just where I stand
All of these people are a part of me.
And that’s what makes me who I am.
I think maybe I would like to use the song, but with me singing my words in the video in different parts. Or even just speaking the words in certain part. Think would give a really nice effect and shows who I am.
